Clove bud oil is derived from the clove tree, a member of the Myrtaceae family. The oil is made up of 89% eugenol which is where the majority of it’s health benefits lie including antiseptic and antioxidant properties.

Clove bud oil is an effective natural treatment for dry skin as well as helping to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. It is often used as the active ingredient to soothe itching skin should they come into contact with poisonous plants. It is used in our anti-chafing cream as a replacement for dimethicone.
